I first met Shauna and Joe back in 2020 when they brought me in to photograph their beautiful, upcoming graduating senior, Teyah. Since then, I’ve been so lucky to watch their family grow and to be invited back year after year for everything from family photos and headshots to special family events. Each session is a little different, but every single one is a joy.
This summer, the Lopez family gathered for a much-anticipated reunion, and I was thrilled to be there to capture it all. From grandparents and aunts to uncles, cousins, and even the family’s adorable pups, the day was full of laughter, hugs, and those little moments that make family photography so special.
The session took place on their gorgeous family property, complete with towering trees, open fields, and their charming log cabin home as the perfect backdrop. The setting alone made for a dreamy summer session, but what really made the day shine was the energy of the family—so full of love, connection, and just plain fun.
